We were fortunate enough to have Candian author Cheryl Kaye Tardif join us a couple of weeks ago, sharing how she comes up with her story ideas for her novels.

Cheryl has a number of international bestselling novels, including her newest thriller, SUBMERGED.

From March 15-24, Cheryl will be traveling the blogosphere and visiting book blogs during her SUBMERGED Blog Tour. We're thrilled to have her stop by her along her way to answer a few questions for us.

Guest Post From Best Selling Author CHERYL KAYE TARDIF (Killer Thriller Book Launch)

I am thrilled to have today's guest post for a few reasons.

First, we are welcoming back Cheryl Kaye Tardif who is not only a best-selling author but also a kick-butt publisher (Imajin Books) and a marketing genius. I pay very close attention to her when she shares her pearls of wisdom because she knows alot about this industry...from all angles. She is very successful and it hasn't come without alot of hard work and determination. I find her tremendously inspiring.

The other reason I'm excited for Cheryl's visit today is that she has written another novel titled SUBMERGED, which is to be released this coming week, and we get to help her get that release launch!

So without further ado, I welcome Cheryl back to our blog as she talks about SUBMERGED, and gives us a little taste of it.

A Big Announcement: Chynna Has A New Novel Coming Soon!

I have some very exciting news to share with you all. If you have been joining me here weekly for the Sweet Saturday Samples segment, you'll be familiar with my work-in-progress called Just Shut Up and Drive. Some of you may have even been cheering me on as I worked to get it finished, edited and ready to find a home for. Well, it didn't take as long as I thought it would.

I am thrilled to announce that the amazing ladies at Astraea Press have offered me a contract for the story and I have happily accepted. I just love this story and Wil and his Gramps have to be two of my favorite characters I've worked with so far. I can't wait to share the story in its entirety with the world.

We are just in the pre-editing stage right now but I will keep you posted as we go along the rest of the journey to the publishing stage. Thank you to everyone for supporting me from the beginning with this story.

OH! And I am looking for people to read and blurb this story so if you are interested, let me know.

Sweet Saturday Sample: Getting Back to Just Shut Up and Drive (Chynna's YA Contemporary WIP)

It's been a long time since I've joined in on Sweet Saturday Samples, so I am very excited to get back into it.

I'm not sure whether I've shared this or not but this WIP is finally complete, edited and I'm currently trying to find it a good home. I have a few places in mind that may be interested but we'll see.

I'll keep you posted.

Anyway, in today's sample Wil and Gramps have made a stop at a hotel near the Saskatchewan/Manitoba border. They still have little Dakota with them, and fear they are being followed. Unfortunately, little Dakota has a connection to some scary and dangerous people. And they hope they can get her to a safe place before those people catch up with them. Enjoy!
